BOTM 2009 House Quilt
You will need a minimum of (16) 1/4 yards (fat or regular) for piecing blocks and framing with Log Cabin setting. You can use more than 16 if you like.
For House:
1 yd for background and corner blocks
¼ yd (regular not fat)for ground/yard
3/8 yd for roof of house ¼ yd for house ( regular not fat)
¼ yd ( fat or regular)for windows and door
Scraps for chimney
Backing:
5 yds for backing (and a 5” border if you want to make the quilt bigger)
Binding:
¾ yd BOTM 2009
Bright Quilt
You will need a minimum of (16) 1/4 yards (fat or regular) for piecing blocks and framing with Log Cabin setting. You may need 1 or 2 extra ¼ yd pieces for this since you will have to make 2 extra blocks.
Backing:
3 ½ pieced crosswise
4 ¼ pieced lengthwise
½ yd for binding
Sashing: 1 yd
Corners in Sashing:¼ yd
Binding:½ yd
Background: ¼ yd (regular or fat) for 2 extra blocks
