Piecing without Rulers

Using small scraps of fabric and one "zinger" fabric to provide seasoning, we will explore cutting fabrics without using acrylic rulers, and piecing totally original works of quilt art. No matter what your quilting skill level and comfort level with improvisational work, this class will stretch and stimulate you to try new things in your artistic journey. The instructor will show you how to correct small errors, how to combat puckers and ruffles in your piecing, and how to embrace the unexpected. There will also be a tool demonstration using standard school glue to help hold pieces in place so that curves stay smooth and design elements don't slip when pins are removed. You don't want to miss this class!
